You and I will struggle with doubts throughout our Christian life. We will doubt from time to time if we “got it right.” We will doubt from time to time if the things in the Bible can be believed. We will doubt if God loves us or if it is really possible that he forgives sinners. Our reading today from Luke is comforting in that, though the disciples have now received several resurrection appearances from our Lord, they are still struggling with doubt. What are some tools that Jesus gives believers to struggle with doubt? How is their new life in Christ enhanced through this struggle?
