Very nicely done and inspirational to freedom-loving people throughout the world.
If you're going to bring religion into it, however, you should explain exactly which religion the "Lithuanian communists" and a good part of the Red Army were. That would provide context for those who might not understand what followed under Nazi occupation in 1940. You could then follow up with precise numbers of how many Catholics and Christians were murdered by said Communists and said religion, continuing into early 1991.
Thank you, Jurgis, for the compliment, but I'm not sure what your suggestion means.
Just received the email below from the Chairwoman of the Midwestern District of the Lithuanian American Community, Inc.:

Darius, How much are the Jews paying you, that you so desire to slander Lithuania? Every nation has its degenerates, and I consider you one of Lithuania's. Look into what the Jews did to Lithuanians. Of course, you don't want to know. Ausrele

Dariau, Kiek Tau zydai moka, kad Tu taip nori Lietuva smeizti? Kiekviena tauta turi jos issigimelius, as Tave skaitau vienu is Lietuvos. Pasiteirauk ka Zydai dare lietuviams. Zinoma, Tu to nenori zinoti.. Ausrele
Unfortunately, it seems that some within our established organizations lack the vision to accept and understand fresh ideas, self awareness, the rough and tumble of different points of view that combined, not only shed new light on our history but broadens and strenghtens our definitions of being Lithuanian.
Just thought I'd mention that two Lithuanian American Community officials recently sent emails praising the video.
Thank you for this amazing production. Must note I am disturbed and saddened by the comment from the woman at LAC.
No nation is perfect - just today the French government formally recognized the nation's role in deporting Jews to Nazi death camps during the Holocaust.
The emphasis in your production on Lithuanians surviving partition, surviving the wars, surviving the Soviets, and restoring the country to independence, NATO and EU membership is inspirational and makes me proud of my Lithuanian ancestry.
On a lighter note, I LOVE the pictures of the Lithuanian flappers in the 1920s.
Is the production available for download or for sale? I'd like to use it in my Lithuanian genealogy talks and presentations.

Dear Mr. Udrys,
Is it possible to purchase a copy of " Road to Freedom"?. My daughter has organized the showing of a series of films at her college next year. The "Informed Series" is centered around historical political events.
