This short video serves as a personal analysis of the form concerning a few basic fencing footwork components. Temple University Fencing Club president, John Minora, performs an advance and a lunge beginning in the EnGarde position, while the form of the individual components of each step are analyzed. The video is a first attempt at breaking down compound fencing actions to make them more easily understandable to someone who knows very little about fencing form, and is a primary study of the usefulness of video as a tool to critique and improve individual's form.
