Occasionally, my audio will start stuttering/echoing in OS X. I run 10.5.5. It's any audio -- web audio or iTunes or Final Cut Pro, it doesn't matter.
Here's an example of the stutter:

The problem existed in 10.4 and was fixed with a software update:
http://s89317810.onlinehome.us/AudioStuttering.mov
Any ideas what plists or pref files to delete? I don't want to have to reinstall the OS.
