In Germany, when Hitler came to power, it was a time of terrible financial depression. Money was worth nothing. In Germany people lost homes and jobs, just like in the American Depression in the 1930s, which we have read about in Thoene’s Shiloh books. In those days, in my homeland, Adolph Hitler was elected to power by promising “Change.” He blamed the “Zionists” around the world for all our problems. He told everyone it was greedy Zionist Bankers who had caused every problem we had. He promised when he was leader, the greedy Zionist bankers would be punished. The Zionists, he promised, would be wiped off the face of the earth. So Hitler was elected to power by only 1/3 the popular vote. A coalition of other political parties in parliament made him supreme leader. Then, when he was leader, he disgraced and expelled everyone in parliament who did not go along with him. Yes. Change came to my homeland as the new leader promised it would. The teachers in German schools began to teach the children to sing songs in praise of Hitler. This was the beginning of the Hitler Youth movement. It began with praise of the Fuhrer’s programs on the lips of innocent children. Hymns in praise of Hitler and his programs were being sung in the schoolrooms and in the play yard. Little girls and boys joined hands and sang these songs as they walked home from school. My brother came home and told Papa what was happening at school. The political hymns of children proclaimed Change was coming to our homeland and the Fuhrer was a leader we could trust. I will never forget my father’s face. Grief and fear.. He knew that the best propaganda of the Nazis was song on the lips of little children. That evening before he said grace at the dinner table, he placed his hands upon the heads of my brothers and me and prayed the Living Word upon us from Jeremiah 1:4-5… ‘Now the Word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to The nations.”

Soon the children’s songs praising the Fuhrer were heard everywhere on the streets and over the radio. “With our Fuhrer to lead us, we can do it! We can change the world!” Soon after that Papa, a pastor, was turned away from visiting elderly parishioners in hospitals. The people he had come to bring comfort of God’s Word, were “no longer there.” Where had they vanished to while under nationalized health care? It became an open secret. The elderly and sick began to disappear from hospitals feet first as “mercy killing” became the policy. Children with disabilities and those who had Down syndrome were euthanized. People whispered, “Maybe it is better for them now. Put them out of misery. They are no longer suffering…And, of course, their death is better for the treasury of our nation. Our taxes no longer must be spent to care for such a burden.” And so murder was called mercy. The government took over private business. Industry and health care were “nationalized.” (NA-ZI means National Socialist Party) The businesses of all Jews were seized. (Perhaps you remember our story in Berlin on Krystalnacht in the book Munich Signature) The world and God’s word were turned upside down. Hitler promised the people economic Change? Not change. It was, rather, Lucifer’s very ancient Delusion leading to Destruction. What began with the propaganda of children singing a catchy tune ended in the deaths of millions of children. The reality of what came upon us is so horrible that you in this present generation cannot imagine it. Our suffering is too great to ever tell in a book or show in a black and white newsreel. When I spoke to Bodie about some of these things, she wept and said she could not bear to write them. Perhaps one day she will, but I asked her, “who could bear to read our suffering?” Yet with my last breaths I warn every Christian and Jew now in the name of the Lord, Unless your course of the church in America is spiritually changed now, returning to the Lord, there are new horrors yet to come.

I trembled last night when I heard the voices of American children raised in song, praising the name of Obama, the charismatic fellow who claims he is the American Messiah. Yet I have heard what this man Obama says about abortion and the “mercy killing” of tiny babies who are not wanted. There are so few of us left to warn you. I have heard that there are 69 million Catholics in America and 70 million Evangelical Christians. Where are your voices? Where is your outrage? Where is passion and your vote? Do you vote based on an abortionist’s empty promises and economics? Or do you vote according to the Bible? Thus says the=20Lord about every living child still in the womb…

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you…” I have experienced the signs of the politics of Death in my youth. I see them again now. Christians! Unless you stand up now, you will lose your freedom of religion. In America priests and preachers have already lost their freedom to speak openly from their pulpits of moral danger in political candidates. They cannot legally instruct you of which candidate holds fast to the precepts of scripture! American law forbids this freedom of speech to conservative pastors or they will lose their “tax exempt” status. And yet I have heard the words of Obama’s pastor Damning America! I have heard the words of Obama damning and mocking all of you in small towns because you “Cling to your religion…” But I am a woman whose name is unknown.. My life is recorded as a work of fiction. I have no fear of reprisal when I speak truth to you from the pages of a book. (Though the Zion Covenant books are mocked and condemned by the Left in America.) I am an old woman and will soon go to be with my Lord. I have no fear for myself, but for all of you and for your children, I tremble. I tremble at the hymns to a political leaders which your children will sing at school. (Though even now a hymn or a prayer to God and our Lord Jesus is against the law in public school!) Your vote must put a stop to what will come upon America if Barrack Obama is elected. I pray you will personally heed this warning for the sake of your children and your grandchildren. Do not be deceived. The Lord in Jeremiah 1:7-8 commands every believer to speak up!

“Do not say, ‘I am only a youth,’ for to all whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them for I am with you, declares the Lord!”

Huh. So, zacharybell and dude-its-me, anyone who wants to vote for Obama or - perhaps more accurately - anyone who doesn't want to vote for McCain is a Nazi?

I'm sorry but I just have to pray for you and a numerous host of Americans because you are clearly misguided and are mongering hate and lies by saying things that are not true. I would recommend that Christians should first seek God's Face and ask Him who He wants to be president and what his role will be in shaping America's destiny

Apostle Paul, through the Holy Spirit, charged Christians to pray for our leaders and those in authority. He said this when Emperor Nero, who subsequently ordered his execution, presided over the Roman empire. We should pray and not curse our leaders, no matter how evil they may be. By spreading lies, stories, or opinions which are unfounded, we have aligned ourselves with satan, the father of all lies.

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in the pulling down of strongholds. If any one has any reservations about any candidate, petition our Lord and He will not only answer but will rectify the situation.

This video is very twisted. These children have either been endoctrinated or used as unwitting tools of political propaganda.

Salem7- I don't see where she has spread any lies. You are obviously oblivious to the spiritual battle that we are in. If obama were a true Christian the world, the muslims, and the far left would hate his guts. To the contrary, they love him. That should raise a red flag to any Christian. Do not be fooled. Just because one calls himself a Christian does not make him a Christian.

We can pray for our leaders but we don't have to just roll over and take their agendas. In a democratic society they work for the people. They are servants of the people to do the will of the people. If what they stand for doesn't align with our Christian world view than Christians have a responsibility to take a stand against it. Jesus didn't just turn away and pray for the Pharisees, he confronted them and scolded them. They were the religious leaders of the day and held a strong political influence. Was Jesus aligned with Satan? No.

If all we have to do is petition the Lord for everything than we can just stay on the couch, have some popcorn, and let Him do everything for us. We don't have to lift a finger. I think not.

Salem7, What is really scary to me is you using the words "mongering hate" and meaning them. Talk about mongering hate and lies and political correctness. Lori Kalner is right to draw this comparison and you are foolish to write it off as hate speech. My goodness. You never saw Holocaust footage at school, did you... Those ignorant of history, as you seem to be, are destined to repeat it. Regardless, the Lord has led His people into captivity in the past and He will be faithful no matter the results of this election. I pray for your eyes and mind to be enlightened by truth. JL

When children are taught to sing the praises of a politician, then we are in trouble. This is obscene - and that would be true no matter who the politician is.

This is one nation under God, not under man. When a man accepts the praise and songs of a child, he has wandered into a place where, if a nation follows him, he can destroy the nation.

How many times do we have to learn this? Was it not enough to understand that Nebuchadnezzar, and Alexander, Herod, and Hitler all followed this path?

This is the most foolish and danger behavior I have seen in this political season. If Obama were a decent human being, he would repudiate this post-haste. But he won't. I don't think he is a decent human being.

God help us. Hide Your people, we are in trouble.

And, Mr. Outspoken, if you are voting for Obama, it does not mean you are a Nazi. It does mean that you do not have any understanding, though.

Lori Kalner, what you wrote was well said. If you want to know where the Christians are, you need to look at where you go to church, and ask yourself, how many of these are Christians? And consider this: God called Israel a harlot for what she did. Israel was God's bride, his chosen people.

Where do you suppose the Great Harlot - Babylon - comes from? If a harlot is a people that are supposed to be wed, but are unfaithful to their husband (metaphorically; literally to their God), then how can the Great Harlot be the world?

No, Jesus said to "come out of her, My people". His people are not in any world system. His people are sitting in the middle of the Great Harlot. That is why He calls them out.

When was the last time you received a fear promoting viral (aka, spam) email from a zealous person?

I’ve received at least a dozen from people over the last few year or so, and many of them contain nasty rumors and/or lies.

Almost every single one (especially those that make claims that contradict logic and prior facts) Ive researched carefully.

Major syndicated media sources provide journalistic investigation stories, that often include both facts, and interpretations.

If you disagree with the interpretations or subjective opinion, they are still easy enough to spot that you can simply ignore that part.

The important thing is that you research and verify claims about facts that really merit verification before you spread them further.

If you want to spread the truth, make people fishers of truth, rather than simply give them fish and tell them to hit the believe button.

Man created god out of fear. Lori Kalner, you are frightening. It is what you represent that we should all be afraid of. Ignorance.

Ignorance is bliss if that be the case. I'd rather be ignorant than a miserable human being which is what most athiests are that I've ever run into. They're miserable and they want every one around them to be miserable too. They may deny it and pretend they're not but they are, and they leave mean and vendictive posts whenever they get a chance to do so, in hopes that they might just infect one more person with their dark hopelessness. The real question is, "What did these guys see in Obama, that they would befriend and support him, invite him to their parties, that others would invite him to a farewell party for their friend Kalied, that they woould throw a party to introduce Obama to their (liberal) comrades. what did they see in Obama?

We know them. We know what they believe in, what they have done, and what they would like to see happen to not only this country but to Israel also.

Hi All, I understand the fact that it seems we have conflicting opinions about what is said about Obama. My stand point on this is below, but please know I implore you all to pray about this before stating one thing or another... I have had concerns about Obama from a spiritual standpoint. Not because of knowledge of his political agenda, etc, as I haven't really kept track to be honest. But there has been a stirring in my spirit that led to this...discomfort. I think Lori's words should be headed. Remember that scripture says that Satan will "seek to deceive even the most elect, if that were at all possible". This, to me, implies that it is possible to be deceived regardless of your knowledge or strength of faith if you let your guard down for even a moment. I agree that scripture also says that we need to pray for our leaders, and I by all means would say to pray that Obama will see the light. This, unfortunately, doesn't necessarily mean that he will. God has warned this country many times about falling away from His grace. I know some of you are going to cringe at this...but I, also, will not be afraid to speak... Hurricane Katrina and the storms that followed her...I watched them. It was a great tragedy to our nation, but have you watched the pattern? They hit side by side, and in less than a month of each other. A warning to the City of Sin. Sept 11, 2001. Probably the greatest tragedy, and worst terrorist attack, on US Soil. And yet God says "if you will put anything before me I shall destroy it, for I am a jealous God". I know some of you will probably become very upset that I say that, but I will tell you all that I have prayed extensively about this matter. The sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ fulfilled the law, not abolished it. We are still bound to the law, though forgiven our transgressions if we should repent of our sins. But that's the key...repentance. Whether Obama, McClain, or whomever...I will say that this election is one that has more significance than many realize. Stripping away the politics and personal feelings I dare to say that this is the next staging point of the End of Days...and yes I speak of Revelations. Are we to be blinded by political agenda, personal feelings, and social views to the point that we fail to remember the final acts? Basically what it boils down to is this...we can argue all we want about what who's agenda really is, and who is lying and who is of a sinful nature...but God said that you will know a spirit by its fruits. If it bears the fruits of the spirit it is of God...but if it does not be weary of its words. I have nothing but love for you all, as I am a sinner like everyone who reads this. Form your own opinion and/or belief, but do not be fooled...when Jesus' disciples asked him how they will know the last days have begun he said when he calls his children home and sets them free you know the end has begun. In the late 1950s, I believe it was, the people of Israel came home and declared their independence...and gained it. We are in the last days, and regardless of our political opinions, etc, this will not change. Do not be fooled...

Whether you are happy about this week’s election results or not, all Christians must unite in prayer for our new president. Please don’t forsake this responsibility.

It’s over. We’ve reached the end of the longest, angriest and most nerve-wracking presidential campaign in American history. Finally the “I approved this message” ads have ceased. The endless robot phone calls have stopped ringing. The debates, and the annoying post-debate comments from “experts,” are history—until the next election cycle. More than half the nation is celebrating today while others are mourning. We are a divided nation, split into unhappy fragments by abortion, gay marriage, global warming, a failed economy and an unpopular war. Those who voted for Barack Obama have claimed a historic victory; some on McCain’s side are already looking for scapegoats. Politics is politics. But when I got up this morning, I turned all my attention to the fact that Jesus Christ is still on the throne. His government is what is most important. Regardless of who sits in the Oval Office, the Bible says “the nations are like a drop from a bucket” to God (Is. 40:15, NASB). That includes the United States. We may boast about being “the greatest nation on earth,” but He who sits in heaven has a different perspective. Let’s take a big sigh of relief now and remember that God is sovereign. "But when I got up this morning, I turned all my attention to the fact that Jesus Christ is still on the throne. His government is what is most important."

I’ll admit this election did not turn out as I had hoped. I supported McCain primarily because I am pro-life and I prefer his small-government mindset. But now that the election is over, I’m not going to harbor bitterness toward Obama supporters or go into attack mode. Obama has been elected president of this country, and that means I have a biblical responsibility to support him in prayer—even if I challenge his policies. Whether you voted for Obama or not, you need to pray for him. Here are 10 ways I plan to intercede for him regularly: 1. Pray for Obama’s protection. We already know that some weird, neo-Nazi fanatics in Tennessee plotted to kill Sen. Obama during his campaign. Let’s pray that racist hatred is not allowed to spread. Let’s cancel every assassin’s bullet in the name of Jesus. May civility triumph over bigotry. 2. Cover his wife and daughters in prayer. It is not easy to live under constant media scrutiny. Pray for Obama’s wife, Michelle, and their two daughters, Malia and Natasha, as they face invasive cameras, nosy reporters, maniacal fans and dangerous enemies. Obama is not only a politician but also a husband and a father. 3. Pray that Obama will govern with God’s wisdom. God rewarded Solomon because he asked for wisdom instead of wealth, long life or vengeance on his enemies (see 1 Kings 3:11-12). Pray that Obama will order his priorities like that. Despite Solomon’s tragic character flaws, his legacy was wisdom. We can ask God to give our president the same grace. 4. Ask God to keep our president humble. Many great American leaders became corrupt after they moved to Washington. The fatal attraction of fame, wealth and power proved irresistible. The only thing that will guard a man or woman from this pitfall is humility. May God deliver President Obama from the curse of pride. 5. Pray for wise and righteous advisers to surround him. Godly leaders cannot do their job alone. Even the best leaders have failed because they trusted the wrong people. Pray that Obama will not select his counselors based on party, race, pedigree or political cronyism but on godly character and proven wisdom. Pray also that he will not allow secret traitors into his inner circle. 6. Ask for the spirit of reconciliation. Some segments of our deeply divided society want nothing to do with Obama now that he has won the presidency. Even some Christians will be tempted to harbor resentment and nurse political grudges throughout his term in office. Pray that God will grant forgiveness and healing so that leaders on all political levels can have constructive dialogue. 7. Pray that Obama will adopt pro-life convictions. Many politicians have changed their views on key issues while in office. In the 1800s some leaders who favored slavery later denounced it. In the 1950s some who opposed racial integration later became champions of it. Even though Obama won approval from many voters because he sanctions abortion, God could soften and change his heart. 8. Bind all evil forces assigned to manipulate our president. The specter of Islamic terrorism looms over the United States, and dark forces are ready to infiltrate. Our only hope lies in prayer to the God who is able to expose and outwit the schemes of the wicked. This is truly a time for spiritual warfare, and intercessors must not come off the wall in this hour! Pray that no foreign government, terrorist organization or demonic principality will use Obama as a tool. We must stand strong against the spirit of antichrist that promotes dictatorship, persecution of Christians and hostility toward Israel. 9. Pray that Obama’s door will remain open to the church. The loudest voices of secular culture—from Bill Maher in Hollywood to atheists in academia—would be happy if religion were removed from public life. Pray that Obama, who claims to have a personal faith in Jesus Christ, will unapologetically welcome Christian leaders into his company and seek their counsel. And pray that false religious leaders (who claim to know Christ but deny His power) will not have his ear. 10. Pray that our nation will enjoy God’s peace and blessing during the Obama administration. The apostle Paul instructed early believers to pray for all in authority “so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity” (1 Tim. 2:2, NASB). God’s will is for America to experience peace and prosperity so that we can continue to export the gospel to the nations. This must happen whether a Democrat or a Republican is in the White House. As we cry out for God’s mercy on our wayward nation, pray that He will allow us to be a light to the world as we finance global missions, feed and heal the world’s poor and share Christ’s love at home and abroad.
