This the Monmouth Film Collective's entry in the 2008 Portland, Oregon 48 Hour Film Project. Our genre was "historical fiction" and the city elements were:

  • Character: Jake or Jane Gravenstein wellness practitioner.
  • Line: "Okay, I think I got it straight."
  • Prop: Jumper cables.

The period is the 1930s and the Great Depression. The log line I came up with is: "A young girl faces an important decision for her family during the Depression."
