hey thanks, I will let subQ know. he made the whole thing, i think he said it was 118 pics! the only credit i can take is in the Flickr Land Buying Guide, it was a joint thing since I can't buy land from myself, he actually stayed behind me and was the one able to pull up the menus and buy land. a little movie trickery :)

Well, I did this as a test to keep it simple like CommonCraft does. And it pretty much looks like a poor ripoff. Even though this is done with some key differences such as being layers of paper with each one having additional drawing and only stop animation (no video).
I felt that it was such a ripoff, I even went and posted on CommonCraft's blog to hang my head in shame.
But where does that style become "their" style? In effect, it's somewhat flip book meets stop animation, and has been around for a long time.
