This is a visualisation of air traffic over Europe as collected by people participating in the OpenATC project at www.openatc.com. The visualisation is around two days worth of data captured at one minute intervals. Flights drawn in green are at higher altitudes, and red are on or near the ground - oranges and yellows are in between. There are a couple of minor glitches in the data, but overall you can see an interesting picture of air traffic over Europe. The visualisation was created using data from the OpenATC project, visualised with Processing (processing.org) and use Tom Carden's very cool Processing version of his modest maps API. NOTE: This is a fairly poor quality version - I'll upload a better higher resolution one when I get the time.
