Hi. I'm Evo. I'm trying out Blip.tv because I want to be one of the cool kids. As the co-author of Podcasting for Dummies and the co-founder of Podiobooks.com, I used to be one of the cool kids. Then the really cool kids who do video informed me that I was in fact not cool because I didn't do video. So here I am. Bowing to peer pressure. Doing video. And I'll keep doing it until it is not fun anymore.
Now here's a first for podiobooks. Jack Wakes Up by Seth Harwood is going into print, and he managed to get a BILLBOARD to promote the launch. How cool is that?!?!?
Cuz really, who wants to work after 4:00? Evo Terra Podiobooks.com
Video tech-tard here. Here's a repost -- this time compressing the movie as an .mp4 file -- to see if that shows up right in my iPod Touch. I'll likely delete all this stuff when I'm doing dicking around. Enjoy your weekend.
I just found out that that iPod Touch can play videos straight from vlogs using Blip. But not if you're viewing those blogs through Google Reader. Well, not without some help. Here's my explanation of how I made it work, and a test to see if it works for me.
Just something I'm uploading to Seesmic, but want to see if Blip will convert it to a .flv file for me.
Very fast video extoling the virtues of co.mments.com, the best way I've found to keep tabs on conversations which develop in the comment sections of blogs and other sites.
August is monsoon season in Phoenix. Sometimes, those storms pick up a huge amount of dust. Here's one of those times, captured with my high quality Treo 755P internal video camera.
