Uwe Wissenbach from the European Commission, DG Development, focusses his intervention in the Brussels Briefing on 'New drivers, new players in ACP rural development' on the EU response to China inolvement in Africa. For Mr. Wissenbach there's a lot of misperception on China's role in Africa, and this leads to mistrust. He indicates the need for "sitting together" and figure out what can be done together in Africa and for Africa.
