Brussels, 2 July 2008. After participating in the Brussels Briefing on 'New drivers, new players in ACP rural development', Lucy Hayes (Eurodad) sharesd some impressions on the meeting. She found the discussions on Africa and China particularly interesting, with the proposal from the EU of acting as intermediary of this partnership. Moreover, the discussion on aid and agriculture is timely. It's time to make better use of the money now available, building from what is there and ensuring bottom-up solutions.More: http://brusselsbriefings.net/
