On June 27, 2010, the Alewife Red-tails "Hawk Stalkers" held a Pot Luck party at Denehy Park in Cambridge, MA (behind the Fresh Pond Mall) to help deal with the void created when the last of the fledgers resulted in a sad looking "empty nest" at 185 Alewife Brook Parkway. The local community had followed the lives of Buzz, Ruby, Lucky, Lucy, and Larry for up to 4 months and needed a party to help "let go". About 30 avid followers showed up with lots of food and plenty of Red-tail stories. Ernie Sarro videotaped the event including interviews with many of the Hawk Stalkers. George McLean showed blowups of some magnificent photos and Paul Roberts enthralled the captivated audience with many raptor anecdotes.
