The Taste of Kerala is the most diverse in Indian Cookery the cuisine has a light favor and not very hot so children can often enjoy Indian cuisine and the lovely dessert. The cuisines originates from Sephardic cooking adopted from the early Jewish Settlers from the time of King Solomon 989BC to the revival in 1AD. A blend of Greek, Italian and Arab cuisines that joined the band wagon a gourmet delight you will find in Kerala. In the 1st century AD the revival of Jewish immigrants arrived, and it is believed that St. Thomas the Apostle visited Kerala in the same century his tomb is in Madras. I have raised my own children with Kerala cuisine and they have never forgotten mummy’s cooking. The recipes are catered for very mild too very hot.
