Damien Horne represents a new wave of R&B artists being introduced in the urban market. Damien combines folk and old school, early 70's R&B for a sound that recalls Richie Haven, Curtis Mayfield and even a bit of Chris Cornell. Damien was discovered by John Rich of the country superstar duo Big and Rich and became part of Rich's Muzik Mafia. In this interview, Damien talks about his first single, Novacaine and his trip to Africa where he did work in the Sudan. Damien is one of the new up-and-coming artists for 2010 who were featured in the Music Row sessions.
