Don0rom is the culmination of, and a testament to, the enduring friendship of its founders. As with any children born before the wall fell, the allure of the burgeoning world of video games captivated our minds. Contrary to the popular notion that gaming was the venue of the anti-social dregs of society, our younger selves found the common draw of virtual adventure and competition to be the impetus for friendships that would weather the trials and tribulations of oncoming adulthood. One finds a strange serenity listening to a roommate spout insults and in-jokes to a friend on another continent, trumping in one fit of hysterics the eon spanning tyranny of distance. At its heart, this is what don0rom strives to encapsulate. College, work, and the drudgeries of life can be set aside for a time, allowing the weary traveler to relax, reminisce, and god willing enjoy themselves for a while in the company of friends.
