Community opposition to Enbridge Inc's proposed 'Northern Gateway' tar sands pipeline and tanker project through British Columbia is growing. This summer (2009), over 200 people from communities along the pipeline and tanker route gathered in Kyah Wiget (Moricetown), BC to discuss the impacts of the proposed mega-project.The gathering concluded with a Mixing of the Waters ceremony in which several BC Nations united against Enbridge's project.
