About this original series

DJ Sylvio ”Dumato” Müller – Amazônia ProjectAfter 30 years of work as a DJ and a producer I recall this as my greatest challenge, to translate in rythms all the beauty and spirituality of the abundant now threathened nature of the Amazon, the real hearth of planet earth.Ten years ago I created the “DJ Dumato”, an attempt to honour what I´ve had learned working in the phonograph industry, using music as a tool of reflection about culture and social action, since then I´ve mixed capoeira, afro chorus, bossa, embolada, sambra, among other rythms that I grew up listening here in Latin America and always taking care with the recordings, respecting the masters and trying to bring good things for the communities that I visit.
