Purchase on iTunes Paul McCartney performs "I Saw Her Standing There" at the 1986 Prince's Trust Rock Gala, as part of the 10-year "birthday" celebration of HRH Prince Charles' charity. McCartney was supported by an "all star" band including Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Elton John, Mark Knopfler, Ray Knight, and others. At the time, McCartney said "It's just a thrill to play with musicians of this calibre...cause it was a birthday thing, they wanted to do something a bit silly at the end, and that's me!!"
