Marble version 0.11 (KDE 4.6) and later will include a turn-by-turn navigation / route guidance mode: While following a route, turn instructions are displayed as needed. The route is recalculated whenever you deviate from it.Note: The version shown in this screencast contains some visual glitches that will be fixed in the final version.
This screencast shows the installation of maps for offline routing in Marble as well as their use. The routing backend used is Monav.
Marble offers you to switch between possible alternative routes: Just click on any alternative route in the map to activate it, or select a different route in the combo box on the bottom left.
