Filmmaker, author, troublemaker Michael Moore delivered an impassioned, humorous and provocative presentation at the 2012 Left Forum at Pace University in New York City on March 17th. At the end of the speech Moore led the entire audience in a march to nearby Liberty Park (aka Zuccotti Park) to join the Occupiers who had re-taken the birthplace of the Occupy Movement to celebrate its six month anniversary.
For 22 years Deep Dish has been a laboratory for new, democratic and empowering ways to make and distribute video. It has been a hub for linking thousands of artists, independent videomakers, programmers, and social activists. The network has produced and distributed over 300 hours of television series that challenge the supprssion of awareness, the curruption of language, and the perversion of logic that characterizes so much of commercial media.
