David McDonald

About this original series

David McDonald is a filmmaker best-known for two works: "Woodstock/You Can't Get There From Here" and "The Culture Wars," both of which are playing at an ever-growing number of festivals around the world.Although his work up until this point would technically be described as "documentary" (McDonald famously uses "what is there" as his subject matter), his work stretches the limit of that genre by its sometimes whimsical story-telling (numerous, sometimes disagreeing narrators), hyper-saturated imagery, and copious use of music.
