About this original series

DanTraveling is our website! Most weekends, my wife, Janet, and I pick a path on our map and drive off in that direction just to see what we can see. Over the years we have been down many roads and had quite a few adventures, and some long boring drives that seemingly served no real purpose. We come home, go to work Monday mornings and tell our friends and family about our trip, and people always say, "Gosh, that sounds like fun, how do we get there?" Since we are not cartographers ourselves, we thought we would organize these excursions by major interstates, give a summary and opinion about each site.
