A township home went up in flames Thursday, just five days before Christmas, killing two dogs and leaving a family of four homeless. The fire, which was reported around 10:20 a.m., consumed Scott Jacobs? home, according to Rich Collins, Ideal Volunteer Fire Department fire chief.
