An exclusive behind-the-scenes documentary on the escalating gang problem in California's Central Valley.The 30-minute production includes in-depth interviews with local leaders; police officials; prosecutors, an ex-gang member from Modesto and a mother who watched as her daughter became a gang member and tragically overdosed on Methamphetamine.The documentary, called “On the Front Line: Gangs, Guns & Violence,” is a public awareness and educational effort by the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department. It includes graphic pictures of gang violence and candid insight from local law enforcement officers struggling to get a handle on escalating gang tensions in Stanislaus County.
