Some preview footage of Alan Pickard : With fearsome gusts whipping across the lake, Alan Pickard clocked just under 82mph on the outward leg of his world record run, when combined with his slightly slower return run he upped the world record for the 1200cc Runabout Superstock class with an average time of just over 80mph. In these conditions it was amazingly fast.
