This one really needs no introduction. You have peanut butter, you have sugar and you have bacon. With ingredients like that, there is no question the outcome will be a delicious success. If you are into the fantastic flavor combination that is savory and sweet then you will love this slight variation on the peanut butter cookie. 1 cup all-natural chunky or smooth peanut butter 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 tsp baking soda About 6 slices of bacon Cook bacon until crispy and let cool on paper towels. Dice and set aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In mixer combine peanut butter and sugars until well combined (about 2 minutes). Add egg and baking soda and mix for another 2 minutes. Fold in bacon and roll into large walnut sized balls. Use a fork to create a criss-cross pattern with a fork. Roll balls into granulated sugar before making the criss-cross pattern for extra texture. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for five minutes. These cookies are best served immediately. Since they contain bacon, refrigerating after a few hours is encouraged but they are not nearly as good cold or even reheated.
