I am a huge fan of P90X (a Beachbody product), and have completed 3 rounds of it.P90X is a workout routine based on muscle confusion, and some arse kicking routines! I've had great results with the program, losing well over 40lbs since the beginning.Along comes Insanity.Earlier this year teasers for a new BeachBody product called Insanity started to make their rounds. It basically claimed it would kick the crap out of us.. and in only 60 days.
Yeah. It's been a while since I've done one of these.
Slowly getting back to my groove.
I made it through the week. I skipped Plyo, but I'm good with that. Ready for week 2
I've been dragging my arse for months. I've not been in the right frame of mind for working out.. To be honest.. I just didn't care. I've tried to restart my program several times, but just couldn't find that motivation I needed. Fast forward to today. BAM. Man-o-man. I stepped on the scale. Something I have not done in a while. Ack!!! 169.5 lbs. Around 15 lbs heavier than I was when I finished round 3. Yeah. I'm back. (or at least... soon!)
I am seriously unmotivated to even get back into the swing of things. Even when I feel I am ready, it just.. . bleh.
That's right. I call a do over! This week just didn't quite materialize like I had planned. I was only able to get one measily workout in. :( Next week /will/ be better.
Back in the saddle, baby! I am very excited to get back to the 'X'. This round (the fourth) is going to be a mixture of P90X and Insanity. I picked up the routine from: http://crit.cc/hybrid. It was put together by Jason Croxford of http://betterbody90.com
I am soooo ready to get back to weight training.
This is the last week of Insanity, and for that I am glad. It's been rough couple of weeks.. just keeping my head around things.. almost done though...
