The Art of Figure Skating

Charlotte Aiken is a figure-skater who has previously won the British solo ice dance championships and is currently training to qualify for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Russia. Figure skating is a sport that combines artistry with physicality. Accentuated by the pace of Jean Phillipe Rio-Py's piano music, Aiken and her partner Josh Whidborne demonstrate the speed, agility and musicality associated with their sport, while she explains the elements of trust, balance and confidence required to dance with a partner on the ice. www.aiken-whidborne.ice-dance.com/ Follow Our Show!
