Brazil Comes to the UK As preparations intensify for Rio 2016, the Rio Occupation London, part of the London 2012 Festival for the Olympic Games saw 30 groundbreaking Rio de Janeiro based artists from a broad spectrum of artistic genres descend on London, occupy the streets and fill them with Latin flair as they curate and create a series of workshops, installations and performances. Crane.tv spend a day at the open studio at the Victoria and Albert museum and meet with three of the artists, Breno Pineschi, Eric Fuly and Robson Rozza, before meeting with Adriana Rattes, Rio's Secretary of State for Culture to find out how the London art scene will inform the emerging cultural communities in Rio de Janeiro. We find out how Brazil is preparing for both the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games, before capturing the excitement of the occupation finale at London's Biscuit Factory in Bermondsey.
