Quentin Blake's New Work

Newly knighted artist and illustrator Quentin Blake has staged an exhibition of new work at Marlborough Fine Art Gallery in Mayfair, London. Most famously known for his collaborations with Roald Dahl, and more recently with writers such as David Walliams, Blake has begun to produce work that departs from the page. This includes large-scale pieces for hospitals in the UK and France and the lithographs, drawings and etchings included in this recent exhibition. Walking through the gallery, Blake describes his drawing philosophy and the process of inventing stories on the page. www.quentinblake.com Follow Our Show!
