Kinder Aggugini is a man with an impressive fashion pedigree. Having trained at Central Saint Martins and designed for John Galliano, Vivienne Westwood, Paul Smith, Calvin Klein, and Versace, Aggugini is known for his expert tailoring and inventive use of fabric. The fashion designer, whose style is often described as "Coco Chanel meets Sid Vicious," recently invited Crane.tv to his studio in West London. Sitting amongst his A/W 2012 collection, costume sketches and various ornamental curiosities we chatted about early influences, inspiration for his collections, and his ability and desire to design much more than fashion. www.aggugini.com
