In 2009 the young French singer, Soko, took a break from her burgeoning music career and international fan base to explore acting. This year Soko is back with her debut album, I Thought I Was An Alien, having collaborated with director, Spike Jonze, to create the music video for the title track. Crane.tv caught up with her in London before her gig at the Union Chapel in Islington to discuss the reasons behind her departure from acting, her recent return to music and what currently influences and inspires her musical style. We also film an exclusive acoustic performance of her track, I've Been Alone Too Long. www.s-o-k-o.com
