Not sure that the cancer ever really left. Here is the juicy part from the PET CT taken back on November 19th. I'm off to see Dr P tomorrow at Dana Farber. I've had the CD with the scan for almost a week now. Dr P had told me to not think about it, just enjoy the holiday weekend. So I sat on the CD (figuratively) until this morning. Viewing the images on the PC using the provided software didn't provide a good look. Using the Osirix software on the Mac was pretty eye opening. In this short clip from the scan you will see the scar tissue, which really isn't active. Three quarters of the way through you will catch sight of the lymph nodes. They've been a tad uncomfortable for a few weeks now, but I just thought it was all the surgery I've had that was causing the pain. Don't let anyone tell you cancer doesn't hurt.
