The Hawaii National Guard Youth Challenge Academy provides 16-19 year-olds “at risk” students life skills to be successful in the community while earning their high school diploma. Administered by the Hawaii National Guard since its inception in August 1994, the Academy has graduated 26 classes totaling 2,185 students (as of June 2007).
