In this episode of Community Focus, Pat Keim speaks with Chris Hess and her daughter Jennifer about the Peoria Area Brain Injury Support Group. They will discuss what the Brain Injury Support Group does, when it meets and who is included. This brain injury support group includes people who have had a trauma injury to the brain but also includes people who have brain cancer and strokes. The support group is made up of the caregivers. It gives caregivers a chance to discuss with others the challenges they face as caregivers to people with brain impairments.
