Hi, and welcome to my videoblog! In the fall of 2006 I came up with the idea of creating a video series about renewable energy. It had to be interesting, entertaining, and informative. My chance came when I received news of the first annual Alternative Car Expo which would be coming to Santa Monica on December 9th-10th. Well this was towards the end of November, so I had a few days to prepare for the event. So I registered the website address, packed up my video equipment and headed down south. Since I live in central California this was just a three-hour drive. Well I stayed at the Expo most of Sunday and returned home with a full videotape, vibrant memories, and several pamphlets from various exhibitors. I walked out with the impression that we are in an amazing time, where the transition to clean-running no-compromise electric vehicles has escalated to the point of no return. The technology is here right now, and in the next few years you will see many of these vehicles, or similar ones, quietly rolling down the streets of your neighborhood. There are fascinating things going on in the world of alternative energy.
