The morning after the previous video. The flooding had subsided significantly by the morning. In the places shown in the video the water was over ankle deep the night before.
Over 6 inches of rain fell in Arkansas during the week of Christmas 2009. At the worst the water was up to the door of the house and there was not a place in the yard that wasn't ankle deep in water. It was also a night of continual tornado warnings and the storms kept training over the same path all night.
Excessive rain in southwest arkansas has led to flooded roadways and in some cases houses being underwater. At least five inches of rain have fallen and it's still forecasted to rain for the next two days. The ground is already saturated from heavy rains in August and September. Disclaimer: Please do not drive on flooded roads. It is dangerous.
Tornado outbreak in April 2009 in Texas and Arkansas. Several tornado warnings and at least one confirmed tornado rated EF-3 occured that day. Most damage from this storm was caused by straightline winds. Video filmed in Texarkana, AR. The city was mentioned on CNN for this severe weather outbreak.
