Spent a weekend in the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Picked up a BMW at the Rome airport and drove about 3 1/2 hours south to Sorrento passing Naples along the way. Sorrento was my base, then drove south to legendary Positano and then Amalfi. National Geographic includes the Amalfi Coast in World's 50 greatest drives and it certainly was. Blue skies, warm temperatures and stunning scenery. One tip though, weekends are busy and it may be better to schedule your drive mid week. Enjoy! Less
