One Autumn day, a mysterious man encounters a mysterious pumpkin on a walk through the woods. Though timid at first, the two are soon friends, and after some skillful anthropomorphic surgery, become close as kin. CMP's Josh Baum created this short video for CMP Presents Pumpkin.

This animation was created in three half-days with 1st and 2nd graders at Marlboro Elementary School in Marlboro, NY. The school was planting tulips in their garden and so the young animators decided that the seed in their animation should be a tulip seed.
