I loved the 80s it was amazing. If you watched Fathers Day you will know what I mean. It was a period of new discovery. Such as C64, C16 Amiga etc. ZX Spectrum 48k and 128. Laughable amounts now. But one of the biggest thing of the eighties was Longleat where all the surviving Doctors turned up. We had everyone but William Hartnell. There were props and sets from the show. Sarah Jane Smith was there. You name it. I saw Peter Davison in Person. I got to touch The Tardis Console. Not the Fiver Doctors one unfortunately. But never the less a good one. There were ques upon ques to get in. I don't know why my Dad never took one photograph. It was annoying. But that is how it was. I was just glad to be there. But I know it happened and I know that I felt I was in another world. Jon Pertwee was rude to my Mother and myself when we asked for an Autograph and so we found Antony Ainley and he was lovely. Even wrote the signature on BBC Paper. So now I have a few memories of the event. A lot of props were bought up by Americans as well.
