Since 1991, 56a Infoshop is a volunteer-run, 100% unfunded DIY-run social centre in Walworth, South London. It is a resource for local people, campaign groups and projects as well as selling books, zines, music and t-shirts. It has an extensive radical archive of international info with hundreds if not thousands of publications that have been saved over the last 15 years of being open.56@ is part of a larger Social Centres Network in London and part of a global network of Infoshops, autonomous spaces, projects & people dreaming and working for a better world. Channel Zero is a DIY punk cable access show in San Francisco, seen on Channel 29, first broadcast on September 1, 2006. I started this project hoping to create a tv show that would sneak into American living rooms, filling the usual corporate and state propaganda picture tube with an alternative viewpoint of life.
