Grant Morrison Discusses Superman, "Action Comics" at the LA Times Hero Complex Film Festival

The LA Times has released the video clip shown during its Hero Complex Film Festival featuring Grant Morrison discussing his plans for Superman in DC Comics' line-wide September relaunch. As CBR previously reported, during his speech Morrison calls Superman the "greatest idea we've had as a human species," and that "Action" would serve to retell Superman’s origins, bringing a modern perspective to the title that first introduced the character in 1938. "Its time to make a new language for comics, a new kind of philosophy, a new kind of propulsive storytelling that will do things that the movies can't even catch up with," declared Morrison. "We hope everyone’s going to get involved and join us in this voyage into the unknown."
