Joel Plaskett is a Dartmouth singer/songwriter. After spending his teenage years in the Halifax indie band Thrush Hermit, he now tours the world with his rock band The Emergency. But Plaskett still calls Halifax home and says living on the east coast is the inspiration for most of his music. He is a multi-award winning artist with a Juno and several ECMA's to his credit. He is also a much sought after music producer.
