This show contains video versions of my 16mm films as well as video musings that have been shown at venues all around the world. It's also the first place I post projects before I have a chance to put them on my demo reel.
An example of what can be done with rigid body simulations in Maya.
Kind of my interpretation of the Mueller device (also known as the Rambaldi device).
A basic model and animation using an image sequence on a shader.
This is an example of using expressions on particle goals.
Note: I did NOT do the animation or modeling for this one!
Yet another class project that I did for my Gnomon dynamics class.
This was another project for my Gnomon dynamics class.
This was part of my final project for my Gnomon course. Here, I modeled a bee and using particle instancing, created a swarm that slows to "bullet time" as the camera moves around them. These are the bees against a still image background. It's a bit warped because it's mapped to the inside of a cylinder, but it's a bit easier to see the bees.
