A video component to my article-based review site.
I usually write text reviews. This is my first attempt at a video review. It shows, but I didn't think it was that bad, all things considered. I may try another one someday.
As part of the "Multi-Reviewaverse" collaboration a number of reviewers are doing a video in the style of Atop The Fourth Wall. My offering features the underappreciated transforming robot toys in an illustrated booklet.
My first V-Log review, for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. (Sorry for the bad lighting.) I put up some stuff I forgot in my article. http://bwmedia.wordpress.com/2011/07/25/bw-v-log-transformers-dark-of-the-moon/
I hadn't planned to do this kind of interview when I attended Brass City Comic Convention at the end of July. Professor William Foster has written two books on black superheroes and characters in comics and I had the opportunity to ask a few questions. This was an impromptu interview, so I didn't have anything prepared and just went off of the top of my head. This was before the new Ultimate Spider-Man was revealed, so that's why I didn't ask him about that.
Held at Naugatuck Vally Community College in July, I had the chance to interview a group of comics creators, mostly independent but a couple better known ones.
Produced for my sister site, the Clutter Reports, Video Game Clutter will have me going through my old games to decide which to keep and which should go. In this first installment, I go over the gaming platforms I own, to see if anyone wants to watch. Future episodes will hopefully be less slow that this on.
Interviews with a few comic creators who attended Classiconn in 2011
I was lucky to be able to talk with a comics legend at Classicon 2011.
The creator of Shi discusses Sgt. Rock and Jesus, subjects of his latest comics. I hope to post a better quality version at some point, when I have time to coax something to uploading it.
It's the Rankin/Bass Christmas special you've never heard of based on a Dickens Christmas story you've never heard of. Unless you have heard of it, which puts you ahead of me. (Yes, my audio quality seems to have dipped. I know what I should get for the next review. This is a learning process.)
