About this original series

Honest Injun Films bring you The Burton Scrap Metal 2008. The aim is to encourage creative snowboarding by putting the riders in front of obstacles that are not your common-or-garden jibs and rails. Taking inspiration from parks like Bear Mtn and Park City over in the States (not to mention Channel 4’s Scrapheap Challenge!) we can expect to see some cutting edge features made out of cars, gas pipes, fridges and whatever else catches the shapers’ eyes down at the local junkyard.The competition itself is a slopestyle format, with a jam session to qualify and two-run final at each of the venues to sort out the winners.
