Redskins History Presentation (Part 1)

Mike Richman gives a Redskins history presentation (Part 1) that consists of many slides spanning the origin of the franchise in 1932 through the tenure of former Redskins owner Jack Kent Cooke, who died in 1997. In the presentation, Richman elaborates on the franchise's glory years during the Sammy Baugh and Joe Gibbs eras, as well as its down periods. He also weaves in a series of anecdotes and stories about the team such as this one: Did Richard Nixon call a play for the Redskins during their 1971 playoff game against the 49ers? As Richman explains, the facts are open to interpretation.
