About this episode

This trailer contains a plot where Julie Thong was separated from her family and tortured in a concentration camp during the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975-79. She was in a constant fear each night thinking she might be taken away during her sleep to be tortured and killed. She was starved with one spoon of rice a day and eventually her health took a told on her and she fainted in the middle of a rice field work. The communist soldiers took her away and later she was searched due to her escape to find food to eat.
