Our entry into Portsmouth's dvmission 48 hour film festival. We didn't walk away empty handed - I got a parking ticket, w00t!
Team Pax Copia are on dvmission2009 in Portsmouth in October 2009. Since we'd never made a 2 minute film in 48 hours we thought we'd better practice! This is the result. We based our practice on the same rules and critieria as found on dvmission2008.
SmoothCam was used on several sequences in this movie. Here's a side-by-side comparision of just how smooth SmoothCam can smooth out even the most drunken of stumbling camerapersons (ie, me!)[left is from the original rushes, right is from the final #2wkfilm cut]
A promotional vid for VMware. Stop stressing over your IT infrastructure and virtualise it! Look, it worked for all these people in this film that were sourced from public domain information films on archive.org, and it works for me.
This is the trailer to a SD project shot in 2004. Don't let that put you off though, enjoy!
This #2wkfilm was shot on a Panasonic TZ5 in video mode. Double system sound recorded with an Oktava MK012 and Sound Devices 702T. Music by local artists Big Squirrel, Cooperboy and Major Melon. Turn it up. Turn it up loud :)
This is a trailer for my movie which we shot and edited in two weeks in May 2009 as part of an international challenge. Screening soon!
