Forrest, an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Brind School, met with students one evening in late September 2010, just before beginning previews of "The Scottsboro Boys" on Broadway.

Junior Musical Theater students are “jazzed” about their new unit in Musical Theater Performance class. Head of Jazz Vocal Studies at UArts, Justin Binek is crossing over Broad Street from his home base in the Merriam for two weeks to introduce the Junior MTs to the world of jazz vocal coloring and improvisation. Here’s an example of Justin trading 4’s with vocal licks based on the blues scale with Ashlyn Stoner.
